Hi, I’m Dolly.

I’m a 30+ year-old Nigerian-American, living in Houston, Texas. When I graduated, one of my supervisors told me, “You are allowed one vice,” meaning we could splurge on one area of our lives as a guilty indulgence. I, unfortunately, did not listen, as I have multiple “vices”. I love to travel, love to eat out, and love online shopping. And especially when it comes to traveling and eating out, I don’t operate on a budget. I’ve been called “Enjoyment Minister” by family, and I proudly accept that title. As Nigerians say, enjoyment no go kill person.

As my actual job, I am a physician, but I think that’s one of the least interesting things about me. My job really functions to fund what I truly enjoy doing. One of my favorite things to do is obsessively plan a trip. I’ve been asked countless times to share my travel recommendations and/or itinerary, which I would send people or post on my instagram. But finally enough people in my life told me I should consider making a blog to better document my travels and such. So here is me giving it a shot.
